I've noticed we always start with proficiency in clubs. Perhaps different barbarians could have a different starting proficiency. Some axe, some sword, perhaps even some with fire or ice magic. Just a thought.
I had thought about that, allowing a choice in which to start with. However the Mage class only starts w/ a staff and has no choice, so I'd have to give them the ability to start with one of the spells.
It could happen in an update.
I'm pretty sure the advanced class that uses the club, however, does require one extra skill point, so there's no advantage there. I think. I'd have to look again
