Version 2 (August/September 2016), has a fix where you should be transported back to the start of any level if you fall down through a bug-hole.Hey everyone, Hopefully this hasn't happened to you. However, if you've found a spot where you can fall off the map, or otherwise find yourself in an area where you can't actually go anywhere, click the text below to get a "secret" work around. Try to not use it to cheat  If you did fall, please let us know where so we can fix it!!(Note, as of this post, 1.4.6 is "In Review", and not yet available.) v1.4.6 and later: Open the menu, and click the "Weapon Box", the beige box, in the Stats Window 10 times. You'll warp back to the start of the dungeon.

I fell. But your fix is not working. I have 10 hours invested here and do not want to start over if I can avoid it.

I'll test it again -- make sure you're on the latest version (so far it's been updated every 14 days or so). The next version should be approved hopefully within a week, and then about 10-14 days after that another one will be released which can include any fixes I make now. |

My main toon got stuck in the overworld. He's level 40 so it's a real bummer. Trying your solution but nothing's happening. My edition says 1.4.2. Can you clarify whether I click and hold the beige box on the stats page for 10 seconds, or click the character window in the weapons page 10 times? Thanks.

Click the stats box 10 times. I think I need a more specific word for the box, but it's the box on the stats panel. tap that 10 times (or more, doesn't matter if you do more). You may hear an audio change depending on where you are, but there won't be any other indication until you close the menu.

Tapped the box 10 times.....held the button for 10 seconds.....doesn't matter. When I exit out of the screen....still trapped in the void.

I'd update to the latest version. The latest one is 1.4.8 -- I can't actually remember which version had that fix active.

How do I update the game. There is no prompt from the App Store to update. Is there a way to do it on my own?

i reloaded the game from the App Store. The App Store says 1.4.8 is the newest version, but when I reloaded it, it still shows 1.4.6 as the version.

Looks like I forgot to change the number on the screen. However, when you start the game it checks the version number (not the number on the screen, that's a different value) with one I have online -- if it doesn't match, there'll be a green message notifying you of a new version in place of the version number.

So I don't get any green messages so I assume I have the latest version, but the fix doesn't work for my stuck character either. Is the Overworld treated the same as a dungeon? Will I still transport to the beginning of the Overworld? Is there a beginning of the Overworld?

It's all treated the same. I use it all the time when testing the game now, to speed to various locations. In the app store, click on "Updates" and find it in the list. If it's updated, should be up to 1.4.8, the fix will work. It still doesn't work. I have tried clicking on every box. Would it matter that I'm playing on a Macbook and not a tablet? Now both my toons are stuck, one level 40 and the other 45. My version says 1.4.2 but there's nothing to update on the app store.

OOOOOOOHHHHHH YESSSSSSSSS Yes it would. The mac version is much harder to update, and there's only been like 12 sales  So I haven't gotten to it. I'll bump it up on my priority list. Sorry I didn't think to ask that! |

Got it! Thanks man. My characters didn't even need the unstuck trick, they could just move again! Pretty exciting.
Two things, though: you took the exit button away on the main menu? I have to command+Q to exit the game. No big deal but was that intentional? Second, the space bar still triggers the second spell hotkey, even when I am opening a chest.
No hurry on those, the game works great. Just suggestions/reminders/whatever.

Oh man, ok I thought I had fixed the space bar thing. The exit button I had just forgot to turn on for the desktop build. I've coded it now so I won't have to worry about that any more. These will be fixed in the next update. THANKS!!! |
